Shocks and Struts

What would be the best shock and strut combination? Just trying to get some info on what to get so I don't pick the wrong ones. Thanks.

There are no wrong or right combinations... best combination of struts/springs for what purpose? For handling? For looks? For ride quality? Need more details here....

If ya wanna see what most people here are running... go here for struts:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=281189

And go here for springs:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=281194

Also check out Housecor's site for more info (I highly suggest bookmarking this one):

http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html

And lastly... this is a common question... do a search for it cuz there might be more good info out there... instructions are in my sig....

Can you be more specific? I don't understand what you mean by "balance".... is your car lopsided or something? Or do ya mean something like a level drop?

I meant balace between like handling and feel of the ride. I think I would need some more help if my car was lopsided. Thanks for the help though.

Tokico HPs are good enough if you're not gonna want to adjust the stiffness.... they're about 10% stiffer than stock and coupled with some nice springs, it should be a nice ride with much better handling than stock. I have HPs w/ Progress springs and I like the ride quality and love the handling... see my homepage for pics of it...

Also, if ya want adjustability, the Tokico Illuminas let you adjust the stiffness and I think the HPs are around setting 2-3 on the Illuminas? I'm not exactly sure, but I did see another post about that earlier today... see if you can find it....

this has been discussed thousands of times. If you ran a google search you will find more info than you want to read about it.
