Thanks! They are 5zigen fno1r-c hyperblack...17x8. Opinions are appreciated..no matter what, so say whatever. They were more for function than for looks..so I never saw them before I bought them, but I'm pleased.

Rims look sick, not too big. Big rims are ghey IMO, and don't belong on a car that is going for purpose and not show. Awesome choice.

LOL I saw them through pictures but not in person. Since the max came with 5spokes, it's not too hard to go wrong. With the yokohamas, the tally came up to about 1300 with the certificates. I used to have 18"s on my 93 max, but they were a nightmare since I had 35series on them, so 17" is good enough. I used them at the road course today, and they were very nice. Seems like the bigger and wider wheels with tires still weigh less than the stock 16's with tires. Too bad I still can't keep up with the porsches. Thanks for your replies, folks!

whats the point of rims???
To be pretty. We all drive SEDANS here, no one is a race car driver, clue in

The rims make the car unique, and people will have different opinions about them. No one said they were a "racecar" driver, do you have to be to have a set of aftermarket wheels? And no not everyone here drives a SEDAN

enomik- I was actually looking into getting some gram lights, but the wait on those can get ridiculous and track day was coming up, so I went with the 5zigens, which actually weigh less. Consider yourself lucky if you're able to get volk rims to the right spec!

CKOT- The drop is from progress springs..as is. It's not very low, but I was having issues scraping the b-pipe here and there.

To whom it may concern- The whole point of the road course isn't to race, but to use the car to is fullest extent...and the bigger, wider, and lighter wheels helps that a lot. For what I do, it's not really racing...but it IS a race school so you get to know your car better and be a more aware driver on the street.

whoa, i guess its "that time of month" for you

as he said, the rims are very light and are lighter than the stock 16s. Even if he lost only a few pounds, considering rotational mass, he ended up losing a lot more. Him taking the car to the track proves my point even more.

sorry to ***** this thread, but some people are just too stupid.

Edit: just looked on ruthless's cardomain, and you have fricken chrome rims that you are going to be putting on a family sedan!!! These rims are functional, but yours are just pointless bling, so basically you're the one who's trying to be pretty.
