should i get stillen intake or sprial max product for my 97 max. i dont know whats gonna work better. does anyone have sprial max . i wanna know if its going to make any difrence in gas milage and noticable power or how about stillen intake? Am i going fill any diffrence in power.

 

Heh, my friend just tossed a Spiralmax into his Mustang he says he gets about maybe 10 extra HP (he claims atleast) not sure about how much he gets MPG wise now, he tried to convince me to get one as well but i think im going to go with a Place Racing CAI. But seriously that little aluminum piece that is Spiralmax costs like $60 and you could probably make the dang thing out of a pop can :P

 

I have the stillen intake in my 95 maxima and it has greatly increased the performance. The miles per gallon are minor but the overall sound and energy you get from it is great. The way that Stillen has produced this intake is awesome and it allows much more air into your VQ to breath easier and thus produce more horsepower. Hopefully this helps you in your quest to get the right intake...personally i would not get a CAI intake because of the possibility of sucking in water ...

 

ok fellas...lets talk...intake is worthless...the little sprial max thing doesnt work, there have been some reportings of ppl actually LOOSING power, dont get that either, easiest thing to do is mod ur stock air box, read the stickies they will show u im right.
