Took out my distorted guages & installed white face SE guage cluster...followed the how to instructions, and it was a breeze.
Love the new look. pics will be posted soon.

 

nice! everytime i purchase an SE cluster on the org there's always something wrong with it.

 

i just swapped the white gauge faces with my black ones and used my original cluster. nismotic why don't you just put the white gauges on your's instead of swapping the whole cluster?


what did you do about your mileage?

 

i dont see a way to do it without removing the needles ( i hate those damn needles.) How did YOU do it? i have a busted SE cluster here with the gauges..

 

I got it off of E-bay & it is in perfect condition.
I just wrote down the mileage in back of my service book....my car had 132k, the new one has 94k. The old lense was NASTY!

 

i actually made the write up in the stickies on how to remove the needles safely...and that's how i did it. it's really not that hard as long as you follow the directions and are careful. practice on the busted cluster first if you need to.


so you're currently driving it with the incorrect mileage? i'd rethink that one because no one will want to buy a car that has an odometer that has been tampered with or altered because the mileage would come up differently on carfax. just switch the faces like i was telling nismotic and do it legally.

I wanted white face guages & my old lense was distorted to hell...so this is what me & my dad did to fix the problem...got me an SE cluster.
Never said I wanted to change my black ones to white.

BTW....you could not tell if the cluster was replaced anyway.
and CARFAX sux azz...aint worth the paper it's printed on.

Guys can any body sell me a SE cluster or just those white guages plz cant find them anywhere.

 

BTW but i need from 98-99 i have a digital milege

you can bring the cluster into the stealership and they can change the cluster's milege for you.

 

I wish I had read the needle how-to before I swapped in white faces...

Mine work, but they stick like hell sometimes. I may just replace the whole thing with a digital cluster before too long.
