Finally...My first pics!!!!!(56k = nope)

Well... after years of browsing through this forum and seeing everyone else post up pics of their ride, I finally built up the courage to take some pics of my ride. Now I dont have many mods like EVERYONE else has, but I do my best with the little funds I have right now. I just try to keep my car clean so I can get some recognition. I only have Titanium Edition rims, Red/Clears, and Diamond Cut Clear Corners. Right now I dont have interior pics or any others, but I'll post up some more when I have time. This summer I'm looking at getting a Budget Y-pipe, HID projectors, Intake, and if I have enough money, H&R's and Illuminas. The 4x4 look doesnt bother me at all, so I can wait on lowering kits(aka... dont mention anything about stock ride height...LOL!!). So anyway here are the pics yall been waiting for. Constructive critism and opinions are welcome as always. THANKS!!

Thanks man. Yeah so far these rims have been the best thing that I bought for this car. I'm really glad that I did. I love the way it looks. Just make sure they are the Titanium Edition, like mine. I think they look so much better than the regular ones. What I really love about these rims is that they are sooo easy to clean up. Doesnt have a lot of indents like the stock rims.

LOL...Yes they should have.

Actually I have thought about tinting. I'm just waiting for my inspection to come up in July. After the inspection, I'm going to put on a light tint(like 30-35%). I figure since my car is already black, putting on a lighter tint would be perfect(well for me atleast). But its still up in the air what percentage I want to go. I might want 20%. I dunno. I have plenty of time to think about it.

Thanks for the compliments!!

looks good man. but why do you have to wait for inspection to tint? All my cars I've had tinted and never had a problem gettin inspected. And go with 20% and get the titanium tint, it'll look hot. But looks good so far and it will look 10x better with a nice drop. I'd get that before the tints.

There is a slight difference if anything. It might be physcological. But anyway, when I first put them on, I felt a slightly firmer ride. When I hit bumps and such, their is slightly more noise. But its nothing that will make or break a deal. It still rides nice, I can take turns slightly faster. All in all, barely any difference in ride. If anything better.

Love the car. Man, how do you keep your front end from not getting stone chips?

My black max now looks white from the front!

LOL....yeah man...I will. I promise. I'm just loving the smooth ride to much that I have with the stock suspension. I'm going for H&R and Illuminas considering many say thats the closest thing to stock comfort. The drop really isnt first on my list. I can honestly live with the stock ride for now. It'll get done hopefully by the end of this summer. Intake, Y-pipe, and Projector are first on my list. I dont know why but those seem more attractive than a harsher ride.

Ride through North Philly and Temple Un. campus. You will see me. Never seen yours either, however, there are too many Maximas in Philly to begin with(especially in Black).

Werd man. When I added the rims last summer I was like I dont need to do anything else. Now I caught the mod bug and I'm trying to add a few more things to the car by the end of the summer. Good luck with yours!!

Thanks. NJ is pretty rediculous with window tinting. Can't have any percentage tint on front two windows at all. All of my friends got caught with tinted windows on the front(including a lot of fix it tickets, heck I got one for the tinted plate cover). They failed, had to take it off and go back for inspection. So basically I rather wait till after the inspection in July, than worry about failing and taking it over again. Plus I'm going to be back in Jersey in the summer. I also rather tint it before I head back to Philly where they really dont care to much about window tint. Heck a lot of people out here tint the windshield and rarely get pulled over for that.

Yeah a few of my boys have 20 percent. It looks so good. I have about 3 and a half months to think about it. Titanium tint doesnt sound to bad. I look around and see whats out there. Thanks.

hey, your car looks clean and awesome, i love those 5th gen rims, i got them too, but not the titanium ones. Im gonna put them on next week during my spring break. My car is dropped on h&r and illuminas and the ride is pretty good, so you should def. get that setup. I'll try and post some pics once I put the wheels on and see how you like it. Good luck, keep modding!!!

Honestly, I forgot I had that thing up in my Sig. That was like from a year or more ago. At the time I had plans to get a new headunit with some sort of 5.1 Surround Sound for the audio and maybe a screen with DVD. I was also going to change out all of the speakers for some aftermarket ones (3-4 way speakers, low, mid, high, and super high frequencies) and add tweeters either to the rear door(if possible) or the rear shelf in the corners. Also either 1-2 JL audio speakers in the trunk. I was already to go and do it, but then me and boy kinda grew apart and him and his family moved to Florida. So I had to put that on the back burner for awhile. And yep, its still sitting there. More important mods arose.

HAHAH...trust me, they just didnt show up in the pic. I have some stone chips on my front end, but more on my front bumper. I think in one of the pics you can faintly see a few. But anyway I just been putting on wax every other time I wash my car(which is every other week). I work for Volvo during my breaks during school and became good friends with the detailer. He gave me a few pointers and actually let me take some of the professional detailer products. So I've been using those waxes. However, before I took these pics I used the Eagle One Nano wax. That really hides a lot of small scratches and some of the smaller paint chips on the hood. Works great. I highly recommend it. Buffed it off, and used spray wax and a microfiber and went over the entire car. On the bumpers I use some sort of plastic rubber shiner that comes in an aerosol. Its called P-10, but you can find something similar in any regular store. Basically it hides every single scratch etc that you may have on your bumpers while providing a nice shine. Many detailers use this, and its heaven for them. Whats good about it is that I also use it on my rims too. Makes them shine like no other and doesnt harm the rim at all. Usually when you purchase a new car and you notice the plastics are very shiny its because detailers use this product and products like it.

Thanks man. These rims are great. I love them. Thats good to know that you have the same set up I am looking for and totally love it. You car probably looks sick too man. Can't wait to see it. Hit me up on PM when you have pics. I would love to see it.

Man, all you guys here are doing is persuading me to lower my car before I do anything else. LOL, whats funny is that its actually working. Now its looking like Y-pipe, lowering kit, then Projectors. Looks like I will be spending more time looking at GD's.

I think I paid between 600-700 from a guy here on the site. I went to the Want to Buy section of the classifieds and posted what I wanted. Within minutes I had a few people that were looking to sell. Go check it out, someone always has something for sale.
