wassup guys...

usually in the winter....happens in the summer too...
my car will stall...(automatic)

it stills if im warming up the car or idleing...or
sometimes when im driving on the road and it shuts off and my power steering goes out, and it becomes a hazard...

also...when i start the car, my rpm's will rise to lets say 3? and dip to .5? (those are "guess-timates") and I feel the car shaking like its about to stall...

first couple times i let it stall...
after that i give it a tiny bit of gas to feed it the food it so greatly deserves (lol, gotta love 96 maximas) and it won't stall....but i dont feel comfortable when im on the highway 5 mins later...

any1 help?

P.S- i haven't been back at home for a couple of months (at school) so I wouldn't know the last time it happened... but still, plz help

 

Is is intermittent? Could be EGI harness problems...there's a TSB on it if you can access them.

 

check fuel filter, spark plugs, maf, etc.

 

if u mean intermittent as if it happens on a certain basis, somewhat...

how do i check the EGI harness problems and whats a 'TSB on it if you can access them.'
