JET reprogram vs other ECU

It seems to me that JET reprograms your ecu with the same gains that JWT and TS do, yet JET is almost half the price.

Whats the deal with that, and is there a difference that I am not aware of?

All I know is TS and JWT are almost the same except for the raised rev limiter.

Don't know much about this except I believe the consensus is avoid the JET like the plague. Others will have to stipulate the reasons for that. There is an old adage that is tried and true in life: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

FYI, TS now has raised rev limiter capabilities.

Put nicely, don't get JET.

Thanks for the input, but what is it exactly that is wrong with JET?

No one has ever provided gains or any proof that it works, and their website has a misleading dynograph that would lead most knowledgeable people to steer clear.

Stay with the Nissan/Infiniti speacialists, JWT and TS, they know, more than JET, about our cars.

I highly suggest spending $20 to search. That would provide more hp than that $400 pos JET ecu.

Once again stay away from any ECU beside JWT and TS (and maybe eventually zemulator).

TS has an upgraded rev limiter for some autos or something. It is not really high on their priority list. It seems maximas really aren't on there at all. 5th gens have a similar problem. TS can only do some 01s. JWT is your best bet if you want to get a MEVI or -k VI. If you want to keep the stock IM and cams then TS is a cheap alternative when under group deal ~$400.

That $20 was one of the best investment I have made. I smile almost every time I search.
