Battery drain and horn won't stop

I have a 95 max and here's the prob...

The horn has been going off by it self and won't stop. This has been intermittant for a couple of months now. It got to a point where I just unplugged it. However now it has developed a drain. With the cold upstate NY weather and the short somewhere, the battery is usually dead by daylight. For reference I have a Optima bluetop that has been in there for about 10 months.

Should I start with the horn and how should i track down this gremlin...

Have you tried a new battery? Checked all your ground connections? Also, when did you start having battery problems? Is your battery sitting properly on a niece piece of plastic? Do you have it tied down? When you said you unplugged your horn, how did you do that?

No i haven't tried a new battery, the optima is still farely new.
I have checked the connections into the posts of the battery.
I started to have these problems about 3-4 months ago.
The battery is sitting on the OEM plastic tray.
I do not have the battery tied down.
And I unplugged the wire going into the horn located directly behind the grill, the horn in the engine bay does not seem to work.
