Someone stole 1 piece of my clearn corners

I dont get it. I walk out to my car and its missing just one piece. I thought maybe someone hit or tried to steal them all but the others werent even touched. And to make things worse they took the bulb and bulb harness. I already got a new set of clear corners off ebay but does anyone know how much for the harness and how hard it would be to fix?

someone help himself to my "dc clear set" just 3 months after installation. lucky for me he didn't do any damage to wire harness. I won't be donating another set anytime soon. As for the harness, it should be at the dealer or any junkyard. Just clip, strip and butt connect the wires. Color match the wires, then connect.

Are you sure it didnt pop out and then just rip off when driving? My first set of corners did exactly that on the highway. I heard something clunking around the front of my car for like 10 seconds so I pulled off and looked and the light was off and ripped the harness with it. I would bet on that more than someone just stealing 1 corner

Doesn't that part use an 1156 bulb type? Just get the 1156 socket at pep boys and splice it into the wires that are hanging out. If you want the twist/lock type then you can either find one at the junk yard or get it from the stealership.

That's why I love the amber lenses, noone will ever steal them.

I guess it could've been that but its also weird that the screw was missing on the other piece. And also I usually look at my car was Im walking away from it so I would have noticed.

True.... it is embarrasing and rather funny, IMO, to get a measly clear lense stolen from a car. I know RapidMax can't get it why anyone would even do it. No pun intended to him either, I'm not saying that the theft is funny. But why would anyone risk getting caught and who knows what else for stealing a darn lense? To each his own.

People suck, someone needed it more than you did obviously. What a cheapo, couldn't buy his own. Damn. Well, better some plastic lens, than having your wheels replaced by cinder blocks.

Thats cause I was up at school and it snows all the time. Luckily I'm home for spring break so she'll get a nice wash and wax.

Why would they steal only one piece?

i've had 3 of my 4 DC sets fall off while i was going 65+ on the highway. It dangled off, and fell off. My harness went along with it =o(

There was a guy that posted on here a few days ago with a post title like "new pics of the max". He only had on the front clears I think and the amber sides, might wanna check if he lives near you. He got flamed pretty bad about his set up, they were calling him Mexic** and everything. He might have done something about it. Might be something to look into.

How do they just fall out and what can you do to keep them in?

They fall out because the plug isnt tight. You can do the thing where you get a washer and tighten it from inside the bumper, get some double sided tape and cram it in there, or just put a little glue in the plug so it holds better.

The harness isnt that hard to fix. You can find what you need at walmart. Crimp the wires togeather with a new harness, and it will be good.

Sorry to hear that man. Those punks
