obx cat back and intake ?s
hey im new to the forums and tuning. i got a few questions i hope u can help me with. I was looking into the obx catback exhaust for my 99 maxima SE (5 speed)and was wondering how hard it would be to install myslef.. ARe there any special tools ill need? I dont have air tools. How much do u think a muffler shop would charge for installation? And do u think i could install a injen cai myself with out anyheadaches? Thanks for any help MAXYMAX99
Wont be that hard to install assuming your bolts arent heavily rusted or you have some WD-40 or penetrating oil to loosent he bolts.
I believe witht he OBX it wont be a perfect and excact fit but just a little bit of adjusting will get it in there and working. Hopefully someone who has installed the exhuast can post about their experience

neither the exhaust or intake should be too difficult for first timers, the exhaust does not fit correctly, I hat to shell out another $100 to get it cut and re-welded. If cash isnt that big of a deal I would just pay a little more for Apexi WS or Greddy EVO or SP. Now about installing the exhaust like MDeezy said some WD or other oil and a little time its pretty straight forward.
