fog lamp bulbs

I've looked everywhere and I can't figure out how to get to those damn things to change them. Can anybody help? Because the 4th gen max manual can't help either..

On the FSM? The glove box manual helped me. Take off the black side piece and everything should be clear from there.

pop off the cover on the side of the fog light with a flat-head screwdriver. after popping that cover off, screw off the 2 mounting bolts inside. take out foglight, do what you need to do, put fog lights back on, screw back mounting screws, put cover back on, then your done.

If you have a 97+, then you just unscrew the black plastic piece on the side of the foglight. Behind that plastic piece are two more screws holding in the fog lamp. Unscrew those and you'll have access to the inside of the fog lamp to replace the bulb.

If you have a 95 or 96, then instead of the black plastic piece, it's a clear plastic piece that sits flush with the fog lamp, which you pop out by pressing on the edges.

I haven't got the Diamond-Cut Fog Lights that I ordered yet, so I didn't need the tips. But the FSM is still a damned nice thing to have lying around if you need to do some work on your car. Thanks for the link, rena.
