PHantom GRip! where can I find it???

Ok, so I'm looking for my limited slip differential, and I recall back in the day when I would dream of owning my own maxima, I saw the phantom grip lsd available thru nopi for $231.99, well now that my dreams a reality, and well I'm going at the rate of 1 mod a month, I recently saw it on nopi for 331.99, I'm kinda of bummed, because I spent all my money on spring break, and i'm left with only $200, and I dont want to wait til my next pay check, so any how, is there any other site that offers it for less that 331.99 if so, post the address here so I can check it out. Thanks

phantom grip is not a true lsd, it's a complete locking diff....it locks your front tires to turn at the same rate, so when you take turns, your wheels will squeal because theyre turning at the same rate, and it will cause uneven tire wear. This kind of diff. is only for track use, where it's good to have both tires spinning at the same rate.

It's not worth it, might as well get a LSD tranny or quaife...it's worth the money...lifetime guarantee..

Vitek is the same thing as phantom grip just already installed. My friend was looking for some clutches for his Vitek and they told him to call phantom grip.

A VLSD tranny or Quaife (better, much better) are the best options, but they are limited.

so the vitek is the same unit? it's still a clutch type...

the viscous nissan one is still a better option even though it's only 35% locking?

There's a couple reviews...not for a Maxima, but decent information nonetheless. I've thought about trying this out when I tear down my tranny this spring, but I think I'm gonna shop around for a factory VLSD.

the testimonials on phantoms site look so promising...the green and gold spring ones that is....but can anyone confirm that the vitek is the same LSD as phantom?
