CEL light came on today so hooked the comp up and checked it. Gave me a Cylinder 1 missfire code and i can hear the missfire in the engine. What do you think could be the cause for this. Im thinking the coils but making sure and if it is where do u think i could get them for a good price.

 

also what cylinder is cylinder 1 and a link to a writeup on the coils... if thats it thanks

 

Does anyone know about this? The spark plugs were replaced less then a month ago with ngk so they should be good. If anyone has info id apreciate it

 

well coils run around 70-80 a piece, and I think you want to get the mitsubishi ones because they are the better ones. You can check out this thread,

there is some info on cleaning coils which just came up. If you have a haynes manual they tell you in there where the each coil is located I believe. Do a poor man's search with google looking for coil misfire problems. ya should be able to get more informatin that way
