I just install K& N filter and did a tune up as well. My question is that after i finish my car shakes while iDLE. It doesn't shake a lot but it noticable. Because before it didn't move at all. is the car shaking because the filter??
Or is there something else with my car, since my car Engine light came on. I am gonna ask my bro to look up the codes tomorrow. The cars runs good, it is a 96 5 speed.

 

check your MAF and make sure it's plugged in correctly

 

and if that don't do it. check your plugs. You said you tuned it up. Check for bent electrode or cracked plug

MAF= Mass Air Flow sensor. but i dont think its your maf. a car will start up just fine and idle without a maf, just wont rev past 2k. what else did you do on this tune up? pull the code and thne u will have an answer.

 

I think it might be the spark plugsI might of left one loose, but i wont check it till tomorrow. . Since, I already put everything away, and I am hungry and sleepy .

 

There is a black tube that the intake air box or cone filter connects to. It has a 3 wire connection to it. Make sure it is connected.

Yeah check the spark plugs and coil connections.
