I was curious who has just the stillen front lip on their car and who got the front and the back.

 

while i was down in south beach for spring break i saw someone with a white 00-01 that had 02-03 headlights, yellow fogs and just the stillen front lip. it looked really good. maybe he's an orger....

 

steven88, I think does have only the front ... not sure on the rear, look at his sig pic.

where can you get just the front cheap? It doens't have to be real stillen.

Do you bottom out a ton more with the kit on?

 

If you're lowered you will in a lot of places.

 

anyone got pics of only having the stillen front lip?

The car doesn't look funny with no rear.

 

I feel like if you have the stillen front (somewhat lower and aggressive looking) then the 02-03 sides (little lower and kind of aggressive looking) then just the stock back it flows pretty well when your eyes follow it and I think it would look nice...that is likely what I'm going to do this summer...steven88's pic in his sig looks sweet and that's what he has.

 

i just ordered the Maxx Tuning lip from www.sportcompact.com for an 02 ($204 shipped!!). Do you think that I need the sides to even the front out. I planned on leaving the back stock. Also, what do you think of the ninja sides or the stillen's with the max tuning lip.

 

To which Stillen lip are you peeps refering? I really like the "classic" one for the 5.5 gen, but I've never been crazy about the AE styled one.

I just bought the Stillen classic front lip for mine, and with the 5.5 gen side skirts, the lip seems to flow into the rest of the lines on the car really well. A rear valance isn't necessary (in my opinion) to make the front lip look "at home", but it wouldn't hurt either to get one in order to complete the look.

 

i wish someone who has a pearl front lip would sell thier's everyone has the dang silver ones for sale.

 

I got just the front lip on my 01, with no sides or rear valance. It really doesn't look that good from the front/side view- doesn't flow good. My car sits verrry low - 3.5" drop in the front and I have about 1" ground clearance with the lip on. I am looking for some Stillen sides or posssssibly the 02-03s. I will try to take some pics soon as I will have HIDs installed next week.

 

I was thinking the stillen sides, but I really like the kombat kit with the little twist in in. In only have eibach springs, so the drop isn't that severe. Also, did you see the picture at cutomenterprise, I think it looks great!

 

I got my car back today and just finish installing the rear.... tommorow after work the front is going in...then in the week take it to the painter and I'm done with the car... Ohh I forgot I have the 02-03 sills already and the HID's will go in soon...

oh yeah, forgot to ask. Since you test fitted the lip already, how did it look with the stock 2k2 2k3 sides? Is it similar to people putting on the mt lip with just the stock side skirts or is it a little less obvious then that?

in my opinion...a full stillen body kit looks the most aggressive...especially with 19's and SLAMMED to the floor....redmax2nv comes into my mind when I think of that....I look up to his car becuz he has a full stillen body kit and slammed 4 inches from stock....I was actually going to go that route becuz he inspired me so much...but i chicken'd out last minute and bought only the front...I told myself, "if i buy sides+rear...it would cost more to paint".....so yeah chicken'd out.....however i am not upset with my current setup right now (front lip and everything else stock)....it doesn't stand out or attract cops from behind or the sides....

thats another thing someone must consider....if you want to stand out or not....becuz if you stand out too much, you might get pulled over by the cops....so getting just the front lip might fulfill those needs

 

I currently have only the front and back. With the 2k2 stock side skirts it flows pretty well.

 

They all look good, thanks for posting the pics. I think I'll stick with just the front lip for now. I'll post pics of mine when it gets installed next week.

 

i could've swore it had an 00-01 grille but yeah that does look like it. and i had been drinking....alot.... so yeah i prob saw u drive by. nice ride!

 

my friend has one his names derek on the org looks great. But i guess it depends on how the rest of your car looks with just a lip
