has anyone attempted or completed the trunk mod where the trunk kinda stays in the position it rests when it opens because of hinge placement etc... I don't really know how to explain it, suicide trunk? haha i've seen it on 4th gens and would like a write up or some pics please

 

yeah a few people have done it, I know chris91se had it done, he might still have a few pictures on his cardomain page.

 

I did it on my 4th gen....it's not that hard to do

 

ricer mod. don't waste your time.. especially if you have a system and don't want your trunklid to rattle horribly.

 

my trunk doesn't rattle any more than it used to. Guess it might be the way I did mine. It is a waste of time though. I never flip it anymore. It got boring after the first handful of times.

 

search google for flip-flop trunk and you'll find instructions and pics and everything you need

 

completely for show...gay and pointless if you're not showing... removed it after show season and never redid it.
