Did not waste any time

I asked about the 6th gen http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=390617 and last night bought a '05 SE DPP and sunroof. So far very happy with it, I missed having a Maxima in the family.

Thanks for the help.

did u fall in love upon stepping inside one, or during the test drive? I got all tingly stepping up to and opening the door. once I hit the road, it was all over. had to force myself to hide the big ol' grin from showing so I could knock the price down. b/c she was coming home with me.

Congrats

Thanks guys! I loved it especially after I drove the G35. I tell ya the G35 is a drivers car but for my needs the Maxima is it. I am in the market for 20s now. The rims are already off and my old 18" Enkeis are on it. This car needs 20s!

BTW, the original 18" wheels are for sale with 40 miles on them, great mod for a 4th or 5th gen!

throw your wheels in the classifieds. there's a demand for them. at least in singles.

please elaborate why you chose the Max over the G. was is the sedan? living in Vegas, i take it FWD wasn't really a factor.

I'll be in Vegas the first week of June for the 1st time.

I use my Max to haul clients around. The G just did not have the comfort the Max has. The seats in the G were firmer and smaller. The rear leg room in the G was restricted when compared to the Max. The Max is wider which helps with shoulder room. I also felt the Max is really the better value. I prefer RWD but it is not a huge deal in a sedan for business. I also prefer the interior styling of the Max vs the G.

I went to the auto show a couple of weeks ago in Mpls. and when I climbed in one I knew I had to have it. A new one was in my driveway 6 days later. I am happy.
