For those of you that own a 2K2+, and have most of the bolt on's...

How is your factory clutch holding up? It seems that my clutch can not handle all the power... especialy on the 1-2 shift. After my tires stop burning on the 1-2 shift, I can hear/feel the clutch still slipping and not applying the power to the ground. I never had this problem perviously when the car was stock, and since we have had some warm days I recently began "getting on the car" more. any idea's? My clutch is only 6 months old, and I did the proper break-in time/miles for the new clutch.

anyone have this problem?

Mine's good after almost 40K, given I don't really push it that often.... mods were added at various points... intake for 7K, cat-back for 10K, y-pipe for 2K... what bolt ons do ya have on there Silver?

Not much really... just the basic bolt on's... Intake with apexi, y-pipe, and catback. everything else is just show on my car. there are really not too many mods to do left on the car except header (which cost too much) and lightened pullys which do nothing for the most part and cost an arm and a leg.

maybe i have a car that has more hp then the rest of you.

no but seriously, can you guys chirp 3rd consistantly? (6 speed owners)

No dyno, no care...

I've never had it chirp in 3rd... chirps 1-2... but maybe I've never really tried to do that 2-3.... I don't feel any slippage though....

Btw, what tires are ya running?

I can chirp 3rd...no mods and on Nitto Extreme 450s, just tried it again actually to make sure I wasn't crazy the first time I did it.

I recently chirped 3rd at the race track....had my front tire psi at 29.....it literally BARKS 2nd gear....then gives a nice chirp in 3rd....the 2nd gear shift doesn't burnout becuz my local track is well prepped...it just gives a LOUD bark then moves along...unlike some tracks where u just spin all through 2nd

yep, all the time...but that's because i have the blowtenzas still (36K) and they dont grip for ****...in the rain, my tires wont stop spinning in 5th when im going about 40 if i give it a little gas...i hate these tires...when i get new ones i most likely wont be able to break loose in 3rd on dry days though....

Original Clutch is holding up just fine @ 76K
Not many bolt-ons though, just catback and amsoil airfilter.

can only chirp in 3rd after resetting ecu (rolling on Michelin A/S Sport)
