20x8.5

What offset will make the wheels flush with the fenders?

40? 35?

Thanks

40mm won't make much of a diffrence, since our 18'' are 8'' wide at 40mm...

So will a 35mm offset fit? 245/35/20 on a 8.5

Nope no rubbing. 20x8.5 with a offset of 35 is what I'm running with 245/35/20 tires.

That is the same thing people say when they see them in person. Between the fact that they are black and the lip, they look smaller. But yes the're dubs. I'll do a side shot tomorrow when the light is better. It's getting starting to get dark right about now.

that's cool, I understand with something big like this. you could pm him to double check, which would guarantee he sees your question.

anyone with 19's and want to post their specs? trying to further detail the wheel sticky. especially since we're getting so many wheel questions.

thanks.

It is not much of a difference that I can tell except for a little additional noise when going over expansion joints. There is also a little more feedback coming through the wheel from the road surface.

I believe the brand of tires also plays a big role. I have been told that some brands have softer sidewalls than others so I am sure this would make a difference. No matter what, when you are running 35 series tires you definitely don't want to skimp on quality in order to save some $$$ because they are so thin that there is not a whole lot of sidewall between your wheels and the road.

I just bought some 20's myself... their 35 I believe. I had to have spacers on the front because they barely rubbed my calipers, so I had them throw some on the back as well, it made a big difference. They sit perfect with the fenders. I like the fact thet my lip sticks out a hair past. Heres a pic:

Theres more on my cardomain...<MY MAX>

35mm hit the caliper? That must be in the wheel design
