I don't like the dropped look. And since a 235/40-18 is basically the same as a 215/55-16, there's no difference in the gqp. If wheel gap were bad, then Subarus would not look any good. And the STi looks pretty da** good to me. Nissan never has and never will make a car that can hang with it.

I think they look good. I won't ever put rims on my car so I am not a very good judge.

For the price that they are going for, you can't beat it. Looks pretty good to. Probably the cheapest way to get into 18" wheels. How much do those EVO 18" wheels weigh again? I bet it's not that far off from the Murano 18" wheels.

Digital Texan has them, he said he weighed them and they werent very heavy at all. I dont have numbers though. They dont exactly look right on the 4th gen.. but it looks good. Drop it! I actually like the Alti SE-R 18's, I was thinking of picking up a set.

DAMN DUDE!! I was trying to get to 15 posts so I could ask everyone myself about those wheels! Saw a pair on ebay for $700 bucks after shipping with a set of takeoff wheels & tires from a Murano.

I was just going to ask if anyone had them on a 3rd gen!

I actually was doubting my decision while driving by some Murano's, but now I think I will go ahead with my decision!

I have a black 92 max... Anyone have pics of a 3rd gen with these wheels??

How much did you pay for those & where did you get them???
Are they wheel & tire take-offs from a Murano or did you have to buy other tires?

Thanks for the info..

If I have a scale around my house I will weigh mine tomorrow after class. Just to get a real measurement on how heavy they are. I'll even take a pic for everyone so there are no doubts. I'm not good by just picking them up but they sure aren't lightweight.

i got very lucky to find these wheels....they were posted on EBAY and on the link there was a phone #....i called the # and realized that it was a Nissan Dealership that was selling these wheels on ebay.....they were asking for $250 shipped for all 4.....$250 is a good deal to begin with but i lowered him down to $225 shipped for all 4.....they are brand new...it came off a 05 Murano becuase the buyer wanted the Chrome wheels rather than just the polished aluminum.....

i got my new tires from tirerack.com......Kumho Ecsta ASX 235/40/18.....

i will try to get some better pics when it gets nice out....

The STi is based as a rally car. Both the STi and a Maxima look a lot better with a drop on the street, but if you are going off road (4x4 Maximas especially) then you need a stiff suspension with a lot of travel. It doesn't really matter if an Impreza looks good with wheel gap, because our cars just have too much, period.

Nissan just hasn't brough any kind of compe***ion for the STi or EVO here. Subaru just brought the STi here a few years ago. The Bluebird (Altima here) SSS is comparible if it has ATTESSA (AWD) and the SR20DET. I also think the Skyline GT-R competes with it a little... But anyway

I am not sure about the murano rims thing, I would have to see them in person. If you like it then great though.
