Rough Idle and Noises

I'm posting this for my roommate who has a '92 GXE. It has 178,000 miles. A few problems that he has:

1. Belt squeaks on cold start. Goes away soon and does not happen on warm start.

2. Rough idling, seems to idle about 500 RPM. I thought it might be low idle speed, any ideas?

3. Groaning, whining noise when stopped or moving at low speed (0-5 MPH). Sounds like maybe something power steering related?

4. The power antenna mast broke. He wants to replace it with a flexible black rubber antenna from ebay. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

1. Check belt tension as well as belt condition. R&R as needed.
2. Check plugs, cap rotor, measure injector resistance. Mine idles around 550 RPM in Drive, but still smooth. In P or N, it's about 700-750 RPM.
3. Check Power Steering Fluid Level
4. If the rest of the assembly is OK, might want to replace just the mast as these are sometimes sold separately by the dealer.
