Touch up paint

I know this sounds stupid but do you guys think that us gxe and gle owners could use touch up paint to paint over our chrome door handles and possibly chrome trim?

i seriously doubt that would turn out well. it rarely turns out well for its intended purpose as it is.

It would be easier to buy used/new SE door handles...

possibly if you got spray touchup. I'm not sure if nissan sells it, but other dealerships do and you can get it online. The brush kind will definitely not work. It would probably be pretty tough to get decent results even with spraypaint. You could see how much a paint shop would charge. I can't imagine it would be that much especially if you remove them so they don't have to worry about overspray.
