Finally made a cardomain page for my second gen.

check it out...I only have a few pics up now (and they are not on my fourth gen page). I will post more pics when I have had a chance to clean the interior and engine bay. Also I was running out of light lastnight, so I did not get too many up.

yeah, I finally found a fender that matched on ebay....I was running the wrong color fender for a while....that's why I have not posted any pics since I lowered the car and put different rims on.
I need to get more pics during the day so you can see my exhaust, and my Datsun badge

**my rims are ICW Arachned's they are 16x7.5

ok my next questions are where did you get them from? What is the offset? How much were they? The reason I ask this is because I cant find the 16 inchers anywhere online. Im only getting the 17's and 18's at most online shops. Im really diggin the wheels. I see you have a GXE grill too. I also noticed that you have ST springs. I thought they wouldve dropped the car lower than that but I love that stance. Its a stance to get rid of some of the wheel gap but still high enough for everyday driving.

I am not positive on the offset, but my tires do scrub the fenders when I go into a hard corner too fast, or someone is in the back seat. They were cheap, I paid 650 for them with tires (new), I bought them at a local wheel and tire place. Any where that has ICW can get these wheels. I actually like my old wheels better but they were discontinued. About the lowering I don't know how much lower you would want it...I can only put 1 finger in on the front and not even 2 in the rear. The grille is the one that came on the car when I bought it. I also recently put in the shiro clear front lenses. For performance I have a Stanza TB with a port matched IM, I have a 2.25 catback with a Magnaflow muffler, and a CAI made my Jeff92se. I will take more pics during the day so you can see everything, I just wanted to take a few quick pics because I had just washed the car and wanted to start a page for it.

Yeah that is what I estimated with tires for those rims. I really like them. They look good for 16's I actually looked around and is all the other places had were 16x7's. So far that I have seen anyway. If it rubs then maybe Ill stick with stock heighth. What are the dimensions for the tires so Ill know what Im getting and they wont be too small or something? I think Im going to get these. I was going to settle for some used 6-spoke 2000 Altima SE 16's, but I think I am going to go with this.Hopefully, if I can get them, Ill get them before Maxus in Dallas.

crap!! you are right, I am getting them confused with my 19's. My 19s are 8.5", these 16" are 7"s wide...sorry for the confusion. They tires I have are 205/50/16s....when I get new tires I need something maybe a little smaller...maybe a 195 I need to stretch the tire more or else pull the fenders a little...but I really do like the stance of the car now...it looks pretty meaty from the rear

Wow, only 16's? They look bigger. I was thinking about getting 17's, but I want to keep as much sidewall as possible. I don't wanna do rims until I can lower it. What shocks are you running, GR-2's? Anyway, looks nice.

Sounds like the offset is off. I have 18x7.5 on my car, with 215/35/18 tires, and the only time I rub is if I crank the wheel one way or the other. In while makine a comparison, your wheels sit out further than mine do....so it's definately an offset deal.

Im in love with these wheels. What kind of tires are you running? I priced some for 444.16 for the rims alone, then I priced some Falken Ziex 512's cheapest Ive seen is 86 bucks each in the 205/50/16 size. Most places on the internet are just selling the 16's only without tires. Maybe I need to call some places to make a deal with them or something.

They would probably clear just fine if the inner lip on the wheelwell was rolled, they don't look like they stick out as much as my Rikens do. I rolled mine but they still rub occasionally. I don't care though because they look so good!

I have two other questions. Shouldnt the tires be 205/55/16's instead of 205/50/16's? It seems like they went to a lower than normal profile for the 16's. I thought when you go bigger in rims you go 5 less in profile. For instance I run 195/60/15's if I go up to 16x7's shouldnt it be 205/55/16's? Alright, next question is Cardana do you have the phone number and name of the store you went through? Ive really been busy but I was wanting to get that info to see if I couldnt find them here, I wonder if they would ship them and how much.

I agree....how did you roll yours? Did you pay someone or just bend it in with your hands?

Cardana I got my headlights from an ebay auction. These headlights apiece run about $102.00 each. The ebay buy it now was selling them for 69.99. I paid 160 all together with shipping. Comes with bulbs and all.Note your grill notches in the back, not all of them may line up with the tabs on the new ones. I posted about these when the auctions were going on both on here and in the 2nd gen yahoo site advertising about how they were booty *** cheap. I still need to post pics of the before, during and after install pics. Ill get them developed sometime this week. I tell ya these headlights do make a hellofa difference.

Let me get it for you. Ok, his ebay seller name is zbra28. He sells nothing but car parts for all cars. Has tons of sales currently over 9000 sold and the positive feedbacks were just as much. So, he's a big power seller. Oh, and about your tires. I posted earlier that I thought you should have had 205/55/16's instead of 205/50/16's. Well, 205/50/16 is the correct size if you were running 195/60/15's before to keep your speedo still accurate with how fast you are going. I found this cool tire calculator on this one tire website while I was at work yesterday and it gives you slots to put in the old tire and rim size and the new tire and rim size and it compares the two by radius, diameter all that. It actually said that if you were running 195/60/15's before and you are running the tires now if your speedo says 60 you are really going 59.6mph . So I though wrong. I was going to post this link here but I cant seem to find it now. Anyway good luck on the headlights. I hope he cuts ya a deal. Im going to call that place today for the rims and see what I can get them for. If I could get them for the same price you got them for that'd be tight! What kind of tires are you running? I tried to read them in the pics you posted but is all I got was steel radial. Couldnt find the name.

**the tires I have are just some chepo tires. They are Wynstar brand...I believe they are rated at about 40K miles...I forget if they are directional or not

Cardana did you get ahold of him? I think I am just going to order just the rims from a site that I saw them for $476.XX shipped to my house without tires and buy some tires here. The guy there told me that the ICW is trying to discountinue those rims too. So, I guess if Im going to jump on them I might as well do it sometime soon.

Sarin sorry no 18's.Then I would definately have to lower my car. At which I have been debating and the dips here are too damn deep. Im surprised these lowered civics, tegs, and such get around here without scrapping. If I was lowered I would be more careful of course. Seeing Cardana's car it isnt a scrapping lowered but a lowered stance. Anyway, lets just worry about the rims.

well the wheels I got were a little over a hundred a peice, and the tires I got were like $250 for the set....they are always running specials on tires too. Once he gave me a final price I talked him down a little bit. I think I got him to come off the price by about 50 bux. And yes 17s, or 18s do not cost that much more than 16s...if at all.

...and there there were two

-check out my fourth gen cardomain page, it has some pics of my last 16s that were on my second gen if you want to get an idea of what 16x7s will look like with no drop.

I wish I would have taken pics of my second gen on my old rims after I lowered it....I actually like the way they look better
