Would this kit be any good on my VG max? Would it have directions on wat to ground and stuff?

It will work, but for about the same price, Matt sells his. Personally, I would support an .org member who puts out quality stuff over some place on ebay that caters to ricers and has 43 negative feedbacks in the past month.

 

That voltage whatever box is a hunk of junk.

 

I'd rather get an MSD high voltage system than some fake eBay grounding kit.

But in the meantime Blehmco Has awesome products.

That's something you'll have to talk with him about, but he already prices everything competitively. And I believe everything comes with instructions... but if not, just about any of us here on the org can help you out.

 

yes he does include instructions as well as all parts needed. That is more than what you will get with a universal one. He had a group deal going in the GD section at one time...not sure if he still does or not though.

The cheapo ebay kit is just that. it has a bunch of wires and a grounding block, but no thought into how its installed. the "voltage stabilizer box" is nothing but a coil of wire inside the box and a fuse... I've seen a few of those things chopped apart in the past and that's all that is inside them. supposedly they help smooth out the current flow from inductance, BUT they can actually fubar your voltage because an inductor keeps constant current by way of adjusting the voltage to output the same current. obviously this is a bad thing in a car electronics system that is voltage driven, not current driven.

the price is $60 on it, and the only way I give discounts outside group deals is if you purchase multiple items from me. The kits are already very attractively priced, IMO.

 

i guess it's more of a matter of taste...
the ebay grounding kits (i.e. sans hokus pokus box) are like half the price (shipped) of the blehmco kit (shipped) plus u get the nifty nismo groundng hub...the downside is it is not specific to a particular application so you probably won't get the fit and finish of the blehmco kit
