Grounding

Grounding Question

Connecting new Pioneer HU to Bose Speaker System with scoshe.

People are saying the wire harness does not have a ground. I clearly see one black wire on each of the two harnesses. Are you saying I cant connect my HU ground to either or both of these black wires? And thus i would be grounding the HU directly to the chassis?

The OEM harness does not contain a ground. Yes you need the chassis.
