OMG... read this BS

Hey guys... as some of you might have seen, I have a 03 Mazda Protege 5

I was over in their forum earlier... and I couldn't believe my eyes when I read this BS.
http://www.protegeclub.com/showthread.php?t=39162

Read post #10. The guy's name is Wingnut12... and boy is he a wingnut. I already stomped out a lot of the false bs he was feeding this guy asking about a stereo setup.

I'm sure a lot of you'll agree with what I wrote... even though it was kind of harsh. And I'm sure I'll get yelled at for posting it here and not in the off topic forum. But I can't afford to start a donation till I get my pay raise in August.

So enjoy for now.

He is just new to the game. Someone somewhere at a flea market gave him information that he never researched for himself. I know that it's VERY annoying, but we all started somewhere. The best thing you could do is to try and teach him the correct way. If he argues, ask him what his sources were. He will probably say,"well my brother best friends siters cousin in the next state who is a world class stereo installer form a town of 5000 people said so.........". I only say all this b/c I used to get pissed and need to vent about ingnorant newbs spewing bad information as if it were the gospel. It isn't worth it. My .02 No matter how hard you try there will always be those people. BTW, I don't think you were hard on him, just honest.

+1 that you were just honest, you set it straight without really flaming. I applaid you for this.

No reason to lock/move this. It is still on topic.

The funniest part of that whole thread was ..."Make sure you get a dual voice coil, its like having two subs in one"

Buahahahhahahahahahaha

That's why I have a 3rd Gen..

Anyway, the guy put another post up, saying I was badgering him. If I was badgering him, I would have tore up his whole post. Good info and bad.

Wow, I missed that one myself. Must have been right in between his 2 good pieces of info.

Well hopefully I'll be selling my P5 soon. There's a couple of guys interested in it... More money for the Max.

You think they'll let me have "Resident Memphis Nut" instead of Maxima Obsessed?

Also, as the saying goes... you have to have a brain to loose it first.
