Emergency Brake and Shift Boot

Where do you guys get replacement brake and shift boots. Mine is getting bad and the dealer wants like 70 bucks for the shift boot alone. Thanks.

I think for around that you can get both and they're made out of real leather. They can't match the tan color though. Give me a minute and I'll dig up the site.

Here ya go. http://www.redlinegoods.com/index.shtm

Try a shoemaker, or a luggage repair shop. Bring the old boot to use as a template.

Do you have a stock ****?

I use a MOMO **** (which all have a threaded base) and bought a universal MOMO shift boot (long and round base with elastic.)

MOMO ***** come with a matching metal piece that screw over this thread to cover it, or this boot has a nylon threaded ring at the top to thread onto the shifter to make it seamless!

I cut into it and made a rectangle the same size of the stock boot by cutting out a single triangular shape and hand stiched the one seam and it made a perfect boot (also had to sew in the stock metal retaining rectangle.)

Looks nice and clean.

Im in NJ and my aunt lives across the street. She does upholstry and can make whatever you need, in leather or vinyl. Also whole interior done w/ 2 tone vinyl leather including door panels for about 600-1100 depending on vinyl/leather. If you want i could ask her how much it would be to make the ebrake and shift boots. I have a beige max and my boots are black w/ i dont like. My shift one is in Great condition is you want it just pm me.. My ebrake boot is scratched up but she could make you one. Im getting mine done brownish to match my dash board.

Well my interior is black, so thats what I would like them to be. I have a 5-speed 95 SE and my shift boot isn't too bad, but my ebrake boot is pretty much gone. Does your ebrake boot have any holes in it. I'm not that picky and I might buy that one from you.

Boots!!!!!

I got great news!!!! i just got off the phone w/ my cousin. We are in Newark, NJ..He is GREAT at what he does...I dont know how many people are interested in getting these done, but he advised me that he will do both (shift boot & Ebrake boot) for 50$.. this is for a solid or two tone color (yellow is alittle bit more)..not sure anyone would get that anyway.. lol.. This is the deal..:

I personally have a 96mAxima but im assuming that all 4th gen maximas are the same when it comes to size of boots.. Im giving him mine so that he can use as a base model...As for my 4th gen, my eBrake boot has some little snaps on the bottom end.. You can send me your old ones or you can add 2 bucks and the snaps will be added on our end.. If anyone needs any other gen or any other car, i must have the sample of the original one so that he can ensure that its the same exact size.. Below are the Prices:

50$- You can have any color (except yellow) w/ any color stitching..
55$- 2 tone color boots any 2 colors (except yellow) w/ any color stitching.
2$ For snaps if original ones are not provided..

Im going to put up alittle ~AD~ to offer it to everyone in here but im not sure where though.. for now you can just PM me w/ any questions or concerns.. Thanks.

You CAN get two tone and you CAN get any color stitching from redline. Your's are a bit cheaper though. I can't speak for everyone, but I for one would need some pics of the quality of the boots your cousin can make. Any chance of an armrest cover?
