Your sarcasm would hold much more weight if you practiced what you preach. Scoulding someone for not forming sentences correctly sort of demands you can form one yourself.

Hi, my name's English, you don't know me. Hopefully you, grammar, and I can meet sometime and have a meaningful conversation.
Dan, your response is equally as littered with grammatical errors if not even moreso. You are creating prepositional phrases with no object, misusing accusative and dative cases, capitalization, and punctuation. It's a shame when bad things happen to good sentences.

And you as well. I am to assume that this retort was originally written in Japanese and translated online...I, for one, am finding it quite difficult to decipher what it was you intended to say in [that] final clause. Additionally, the correct spelling is 'scolding', not 'scoulding'.

ALL EQUALLY HYPOCRITICAL.

I am to assume that English was not our native tounge for the three offenders?

i always thought you could wax a CF hood, since it had a clearcoat on it. just wax it carefully like any other part of the car. this isnt the case?

Posts like this are the exact reason I do not post more. Furthermore, I do not have any experience with carbon fiber. I really wish I did, just can't afford it right now.

So what's the deal, can a carbon fiber hood be waxed without getting damaged??

danimsta, that was funny but mjg makes a good point.

I have a carbon fiber hood and I've waxed it several times without problems. Can you show us pics of the hood? Perhaps it was waxed in the hot sun or the wax was left on to long?

its not because of the wax most so called "grade a" hoods fade after being in the sun for extended amounts of time. Nine times out of ten you have wet sand and re clear coat it to look normal.

I thought it would be more like this: Hi, my name's English. You don't know me. Hopefully you, Grammar, and I can meet sometime and have a meaningful conversation.
Is that not the case?

Hi, my name's Nonsense. You don't know me. Hopefully you, MC Hammer, and I can relinquish old time memories and have no meaningful conversation about maximas.

Most likely he polished it with a non-clear coat safe polish. I had a black 96' Grand Prix I accidentially did that to. It makes the clear coat milky looking, and the black always looked dirty. I had to start over, swirl cut, then polish, then glaze, then wax. Your reflection was all you could see after that. It just took 6 hours with a buffer, that's all.

Not a bad tip, quite useful information if we could've deciphered it from the start.

Guys, guys, guys....can't we all just get along?

In all seriousness, though, you'd be hard-pressed to find many posts on here that have completely correct grammar. It's unfortunate, but people just don't take the time to double-check what they write (or to use punctuation).
