Brakes are finished...Take a LOOK !!

After about a month and a half of waiting for a few warm days that line up with my days that Im available to work on my car..I finally finished...I went with:

4 Brembo Slotted Rotors
Axxis Ultimates all around
SS lines all around
Two NEW calipers for the rear ALOT of cleaning of the front calipers and mounting brakets...
Painted Calipers with "Green Spuce" Alittle lighter then the car...

Tell me what you think

I didnt want anything TOO flashy..It was between a Red, Silver and Green...I didnt want too flashy like Red and I think silver looks kinda weird cause it blends i nto the wheels and the rotors...so green is it...behind the wheel is alittle darker, thats why i went with alittle lighter green

Nice work man! Just did all the same to mine a little bit ago. I know that takes a lot of work to prep those calipers for paint.

looks really good, i was thinking about slotted rotors soon, since i found out the drilled ones crack because of weak structural integrity due to the holes.

I used a primer and a Green Spruce color of regular paint I think it was Dupont...No heat resistors...

hey that looks good. i did a similar brake job as you, except while i was back there i removed the dust shields, i think it looks better without them sitting behind the rotors.

Compliments on a job well done! Were the calipers you replaced original? If so, at what mileage are you now?

How long can one expect to get out a set of rear calipers? What are the symptoms of a sticky or seized caliper? Is there any smell or discernible noise? Is fuel economy affected?

136,000 miles...there were dusting alot in the past year and then the wear indicator came on in the past 2 months..after takin them apart, the drivers side was worn all the way down and the pass rear had a good amount of meat left on it. I dont really know if the old owner changed one side and not the other but you never know.

The Drivers Rear, the boot had came off the piston alittle bit and the piston was rusted.
I replaced both cause I didnt wanna replace Just one
