pollen and bird ****, whats next?

i just walked outside and saw that my rear bumper was COVERED in bird ****. i back my car in at work, and back it in at my place, so i never see the trunk. well, apparently, these lil bastard birds must line up like a firing range on the rock wall above my car and just let it fly, cuz it was COVERED. i washed it off with some water, but now there is just a hazing white dried water surface on their now. but on top of that, was the carpet of pollen covering the car, turning it from gray luster to GREEN. i didnt have time to take care of that, i just didnt want the bird **** eating my paint.

so now i have to find a place to park away from the burrito-eating birds, away from trees, and away from the guy in the beat up van who likes to park next to me everytime im home! i need a garage.

I spent 9 hours on Saturday fulling detailing my car (Meg's Paint Cleaner, Polish, Gold Class Wax), and on Monday, public works dept. decided they wanted to cut up the side of my road - spreading the excess sand/dirt/grass all across the road. Needless to say, the uber-clean Max that I had on Sat. is now long gone.

Birds aim for clean cars...what I wouldn't give to take a shotgun out onto the streets and shoot at pigeons until the cops come...

If yo have any etchings from the bird crap, try some 3m perfect it II or III fine cut compound. Works wonders.

Me and two of my buddies spent 3 hours detailing my 97 pathfinder. We made it look better than the day it rolled off the lot. The very next day I go out to admire our work and sure enough its covered in pollen. Looks all dull like we didn't do a dam thing to it.

PS Trying to sell the pathfinder so I can by a 4th gen max. PM me if anyone is interested.

I feel all ya'll. My yard is covered with trees, and my garage was leveled by one of them year before last, at the time, I had a truck which luckily I had not parked in my garage, however, now I have a maxima that needs some serious coverage ( I personally think the birds aim for the Maximas). I have been washing my car every three days because of pollen and birb .h.t. I found that a good coat of wax really helps the clean up. It comes off alot easier. A garage is in the plans........

I want my 30 seconds back. I am picturing some fat toolbag watching his prepubescent girlfriend do a half-assed job on your car.

My fantasy is to feed a throe of pigeons bean burritos near the vicinity of your car so that you can post another vapid thread such as this.

Maybe birds are attracted to clean cars? I hate it when birds poop on your car right after you clean it, its happened to me a lot of times.
