Can I get rid of this scratch?

Can I get rid of this scratch?

ok so someone scratched my car and I just noticed it today. i took a few pics of it. can i buff/rub this out with anything? if so what would be a good product and how do i go about using it?

a) Run your fingernail across the scratch to check the depth. If your nail gets caught in the scratch, it's too deep to consider buffing out.

b) If it's not too deep, use a product like Meguiar's ScratchX or 3M PI II Light Cut Rubbing Compound to remove or lessen the scratch.

You can use RC with an orbital.
