bad weather, quick alternator question(s)

I'm sending a price/spec request form to splmax.com for a new HO alt around the 250 amp range (gives me some overhead for a bigger system), and need some info on the alt, but its too nasty outside for me to go look at the alt myself, I would appreciate it if somone could tell me the:
VG factory alt model number, number of grooves on the pulley, pulley diameter, the mounting style (spool, transverse, or saddle..I've looked at the alt, but I didn't realize there were technical terms to how its mounted )
# of pins (harness on the alt if applicable)

Any or all of this info would be of great help and make me happy..for awhile

Thanks, that fills in everything but the way its mounted (I dunno what the difference is, their little worksheet asks for it though) I might just send them a picture of it if no one knows if its mounting style is spool, transverse, or saddle..that would give me a chance to find out if they have a clue what they're talking about

you can't fit enough stereo into a 3rd gen to need a 250a alternator.
i'm running 3 large amps at full tilt and my voltage doesn't drop below 13.5 at a stoplight with my headlights and heater on. that's with a 120a alternator on my vg.

I want enough headroom to run a 200+AH rear battery bank, a 6000 watt inverter, 4 LCD screens, undercar neon (not LEDs), 3500w RMS in stereo amplification, interior neon, AND if I ever decide to, my ham equipment, which will hog up a LOT of power, as class A linear amps are VERY inefficient...

Hey man, a 250 amp alternator sounds like something that I'm interested in right about now...

I have an Optima Yellow Top battery and a 140 Amp circuit breaker which then splits into 3 (80 amp) fuses at the distribution block for each of my amps (1000 and 1600 Watts) and for my compressors for the air ride (2 - 3/4 HP compressors)...
When I have the system bumpin and the compressors kick in the circuit breaker clicks off ...I need a bigger alternator to get rid of this quick! I was going to have a custom alternator made a while back but I never got around to it, then it was winter and the Max was under her cover for the season.

Can you let me know the cost??

BTW, Irraggi has a group buy on caraudio.com and quoted me $420 shipped for a 220 amp alt with a lifetime warranty.

those'll be cheaper than these Ohio Generators, which are going to run 700+ atleast...I can't afford an alt right now anyway, so I couldn't get in on the group deal..least I doubt it..the ohio generators that splmax.com sells will probably run 700+ for a 200-250 amp alt
