Replacing foglight bulb, question on removing bulb ?

I have everything out, it appears that you just pull the bulb out. Is there anything else to do ? Im in a situation where I have to play is safe. So I thought it better to ask than make a costly mistake. How to proceed ?
thanks in advance !

You take it out of where it sits (which you already did), then you unplug the small wire from the connector. Then you plug in your new fog light bulb and place it in the fog light housing where the old bulb used to be.
There is nothing else to do. It's that simple.

so the bulb as seen in first photo above just pulls out and then push the new one in its place. is this right ?
when you say connector are you talking about this connector in photo below ?

If the bulb is bad just grab it and yank it out, the connector at the end of the white wire will slide right out.
If it still works and you want to keep it, just pull by the metal base of the bulb.
