Replacing foglight bulb, question on removing bulb ?

I have everything out, it appears that you just pull the bulb out. Is there anything else to do ? Im in a situation where I have to play is safe. So I thought it better to ask than make a costly mistake. How to proceed ?

thanks in advance !

You take it out of where it sits (which you already did), then you unplug the small wire from the connector. Then you plug in your new fog light bulb and place it in the fog light housing where the old bulb used to be.

There is nothing else to do. It's that simple.

No...

Follow the wire that is inside that white sleeve (1st pic).
At the end there is a flat connector that slides in and out. (Not the bulb!)

If the bulb is bad just grab it and yank it out, the connector at the end of the white wire will slide right out. If it still works and you want to keep it, just pull by the metal base of the bulb.

No, not that connector. It's the one on the inside of the housing. It's the small single wire that is trailing off the fog light bulb. It just pulls out. And you can push the new wire in.

hey ceasar - how do you get at the bulb (do you have to take it out from going underneath the front bumper or can you pop the front of the light out?) thanks

both bulbs are blown, i dont know if blown foglights will matter here in NZ when going for warrant of fitness and registration, but thought i would go ahead and change them out with whatever i can find over here. man i miss walmart for days like these. now there is no chance of a fuse blown and not the lights ? to my knowledge these lights have never been replaced so im assuming there blown.

im fixing to go outside this morning and pull that foglight out again, if im reading this right, there is something under the white string thing that disconnects the whole thing, lol ! never thought of looking under that

if not its just another lesson for the >>>
