please somone help me with dremel

hi, i really need someone to help me...i have no idea what a dremel is (its a drill, and a polisher, and a sander all in one?) what kind is the best for sanding excess fiber glass?...what accessories must i look for specifically to cut off any extra fiberglass cloth? I've been looking on how to's and different websites...still no Recommendations on What to look for in a dremel, what acessories to purchase, or even what bit to use...please someone just put me out of my misery and help me out.

THANX IN ADVANCE

dremel is my most fav. power tool .. it's very handy.

has many purposes ... you can use it to drill, sand, polish - (eh i woudlnt take it to the paint).

look on amazon for dremel sets. see if you can get the set with the extension attachment for it.

Dremmel is my favorite tool as well (I think anyone that owns one will say that!)

My girlfriend just got me (she gets me tools for christmas and birthdays, it's great) a 500pc kit recently, I'm in love!

It's basically a rotary tool that you swap out tips like you do on a drill; and there is thousands of types of tips. Cutting discs for any material, sanding, grinding, polishing .. you name it, dremmel probably makes it!

They usually come with a decent small assortment of tips, and you can get a pretty large kit for a good price (I saw a 220pc kit at Home Depot yesterday for $25) with a few of almost every type of tip I've ever seen.

A Dremel is a rotary tool.
Their are many others, but Dremel is one of the most popular brands.
The bits you use will be determined on what you intend to use it for.
You can buy complete kit consisting of the Dremel and various bits.
The rotary tool is a handy thing to have, not just for automotive purposes but just for overall everyday needs.
Go to Home Depot and take at look at some of the different models.
The differences in the rotary tools is going tro be the speed that it operates at.
Bear i mind, that Dremel is the brand name and they make other items besides the rotary tool.

I would use something like this.
I used one of these to clean up the edges on my CF pieces.

and yes, they do have cutting wheels.

Go the their website that I posted the link to, and browse it.

Get an original Dremel, don't get a knock-off brand.

i had a bad experience with a dremel, you must use it the right way, i used it the wrong way, the bit got jammed and flew off, hit me in the eye, but luckily i was wearing goggles....safety first!
