How did this happen? I assume the mileage is from the car the cluster came from. How can I fix it so it reads the mileage on the car? My inspection is coming up and I would hate to have to switc back. Thanks guys/

 

I believe you'll have to take it to the dealer for them to program in the new milage.

 

Any idea on cost from the stealership?

 

have no idea but would ball park about $100. Sounds right for something that would take them 10 seconds to do.

 

it's not cheap. When I used to rebuild salvage cars this guy in woodside would charge me $75. I think the dealer is more. And they want more documentation

wow thats a big jump, I'd still check and see maybe they will do a for a decent price. Not all delers charge the same.

 

I wouldnt leave it. It'll show up on carfax as an odometer roll back then every numbskull you try to sell your car to will call you a crook.

I was charged $47 including tax to set my ananlog cluster to the correct milege

 

the digital should cost more. I was told them when I had to get work done on my cluster they quoted me 2 prices one for analog and one for digital and they said doing anything for the digital will cost more than the analog.

Can't you connect to a 12 volt and let it run til it hits the correct mileage?

I cannot swap - sorry. I have a Carbon fiber kit on the car and the speedo gauges are all custom and done already. My only option is going to the dealer and getting it done. I may just leave it like this and have the guy input correct mileage during inspection.

 

all you need to so is send me the speedo guage to me, I will swap it for you, you do that and it will work, all you need to do is pay shipping, simple as that, I can swap m se gauge cover and put your custom cover on it, let me know I need your miles and you need my miles, so please help me out.
