My answer may not be 100% acurate but I'm sure you'd want a tranny that will take advantage of your ABS, are you getting the 99 tranny at a good price or is it just the fist one you've found?

and now you need a new one? hahajus playing but you might want to make your own post about it instead of whoring on this one. More people might help you out
I put the tornado in in my Maxima and it is so awesome. My gas mileage increased 75% and my HP increased by 300! This thing is truly a revolution in automotive technology. Please tell me your checking account and pin # and I will send you my homemade tornado for 4 payments of $19.99. But wait!...if you order within the next 30 minutes, I will knock off one payment.

Cool another GA member joins these foums. Good go over to the GA section, and get ready for some meets.

Needless to say, I installed it anyway, and truth be told, I did notice a difference. I did some highway driving on the interstate recently, averaged about 26~27mpg before and 30.5mpg after installing the Tornado. No joke, I know people are gonna nail me for saying that, but it's the truth. Each time it was completely highway driving (with the exception of maybe 1 mile due to on/off ramps to go fill up gas.
The only thing that was different the 2nd time was that I had replaced the stock airbox with a Bomz short ram intake and also installed the Tornado. Now one of those things increased my fuel mileage, which one did the trick is up for you all to debate.
Believe it or not, I don't care, I'm happy with it though, you might as well give it a shot, right?

While you're at it, you should check out the ebay chip that gives you 20+ HP's.
You are every marketer's dream consumer.

Why would I make this up? Trust me, it was the exact same drive each time: Atlanta to Lexington, straight highway driving, both on a freshly filled tank of gas. I'm not saying you have to go out and buy one, I'm just reporting what I noticed. On 4 different occasions I drove off a full tank of gas, all highway; I averaged 26~27mpg on each tank. I installed my short ram and tornado and drove off 2 tanks (all highway) and averaged just over 30mpg each time. I can't really justify any city driving since there's no consistency. Highway driving, however, is pretty consistent for me.
I'm not going to lose any sleep at nights if you don't go out and buy one this very instant, I could care less, the man just asked a question, so I gave him my honest experience. Just don't insult my intelligence.

Please provide your credit card number and expiration on those receipts.

There have been numerous threads about this POS product. I understand your experience states otherwise, but fact of the matter it has been proven over and over in numerous threads in the past.
My high horse...ouch....thats my line to others.
Well you sure seem convinced. Well, I would have to think the tornado is creating a restriction of air, thus less air flowing thru the motor results in less fuel consumption.
But the premise that the tornado advertises is bull. The turdnado is too far from the combustion chamber to still have a swirling effect. Besides the quench area of all combution chambers in all motors causes lots of turbulence just as the spark plug fires. Anything upstream of the intake valve(s) would have no effect on swirl.

F' yeah wind will make that much difference @ 75 MPH
For example, in general, above 100mph wind resistance requires more horsepower
to overcome then the vehicle's rolling resistance.

So, rather than make the kind of BS posts that all these other clowns are doing in this thread, I actually answered the man's question, so there's no need for you all to get your panties up in a bunch. Get over it. I don't think the Tornado is worth the price it sells for, but it doesn't hurt to try it if you're curious. There's my $.02.
Crockpot, explain to me how a difference in wind patters will affect the flow of air in my engine bay enough to make a difference of 3 mpg over a full tank of gas. Apparently at 75mph, the amount of drag/turbulence can still be affected drastically by ambient wind patterns. I'm apparently too ignorant to figure this out for myself.
Sonicrunch, I thought along the same lines as you. I definitely agree it won't do much to mix the air in the combustion chamber. But think about it, if nothing else it'll help speed up/order the air that comes through the filter. If you think about it, the whole "swirling" motion is gonna be messed up by the time it gets to the butterfly plates anyway. I don't know the exact physics behind it or anything, I just know I managed to get about 70 miles further by the time the needled dropped to E.
I had read a post a while back, way back, that someone had done a dyno with and without the tornado. They actually lost something like a pony with the tornado.
Also for an increase in MPG check your PSI. I had let mine go for a while till I noticed my MPG's. I was way low, I then put more air in the tires, and now all is good. Not great but at least back in the 19+ in the city.

I'm not the one wasting my money. It's your car, your money, your super-duper pile of crap.Like i stated before, you are every marketer's favorite consumer.
Hmm...good call on the tire pressure, well I know for the first four trips (w/o the Tornado) I had my tire pressure at 32psi and for the last two trips I just got my oil changed and the people filled it up to 35psi. Granted that probably played some role in fuel economy, 30mpg is still more than the 27mpg hwy that Nissan rated it at. I don't know, I'll tell you what though, I'm gonna be making some more long distance hwy drives w/in the next couple of weeks, so I'll do one stretch on a full tank with the tornado, then fill up a tank of gas and take it out for the next stretch and see for sure, hopefully I can keep all these factors a little more constant then. I'm not gonna argue this anymore though. I just wanted to help someone out by sharing my experience, my mistake.
Anyone who would consider buying such a stupid pos should just give me their money instead
Take a fluid dynamic class and you will see it's a crock of ****... the air becomes very turbulent as it enters the cylinder and this thing will have no effect on the air fuel mixture.
And don't even think about an electric supercharger either. A real super charger pulls about 4-5 or more HP off of the engine to compress the air and put out enough volume to be usefull. 4-5 HP eqates to about 3000-4000 watts of energy, which divided by 12 volts = 312 amps... how many amps does the alternator put out? ... 125? so if you were to use every ounce of power the alternator were putting out (much to the alternator's dismay) you still could not come close to putting out enough electric power to add any useful boost to the engine.
If you have doubts... maybe you shouldn't have dropped out of highschool...
