What year max? Altezza's II dont look too bad on 97-99, but the altezza's for 95-96 look ugly to me

Form your own opinion. I used to love the altezzas on my car until I got tired of them. There's a lot of people who hate them. Just see if it looks nice, if you like them buy a pair.

 

If you like them get them(look on cardoamin at other max altezza set ups)..... End of discussion

yea, theyre definitely ricey. not to mention the fact that they put you right there along w/ the majority of Hondas. up to you but i tend to like to look more original than follow the rest of the import crowd.

 

ok..so someone mentioned the red-clears..i have still yet to find a pair for a 95-96 maxima...where the hell can i get them?

 

the tyc ones' might l ook nice since they are paintabel give the max that skyline look in the back

what are you talking about? EVERYONE in Maxima.org has red/clears and hates altezzas, how would you "tend to look more original"? your just following everyone else.

The David L's aka Red Clears for 95-96 are rare, your best bet is to check ebay every day :-x, or wait for a org member to sell theres.. Or, do it custom and buy an all clears for the outside and u got yourself a different lookn max than others.

 

looks like im gonan buy a pair off ebay..amber lights..and convert them...not gonna mess with mine..till i have practice?

THIS IS FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS OR WANTS ALTEZZAS...

People need to realize that you should never crossbreed parts for a car. Toyota, is the creator of a car called the Altezza, better known in the states as the Lexus IS300. So why would you want to put lights from a TOYOTA or LEXUS on your NISSAN? Would you put a ford emblem on the front of your Max?....or even better a honda one? No, so why put a symbol of Toyota on your Nissan. Makes no sense.

 

Haha good stuff. I have only seen one person who's car looked good with altezzas, so one out of... hundreds. Eh I don't like altezzas very much. I also have a '95 max and what I really want is to get clear/red taillights.

 

u ever see the rear of a civic or any other honda u f'ing moron? they have red-clears. nothing original about having red and clear on the back of ur car. i hate people that talk trash like that.

Just leave it point blank and simple, if you like the altezzas, Get em. You like Red/clears better? then just wait for perfect opportunity.. It all matter's what you think, because your the one putting in the money, effort and time for it.

 

this is why we call this a forum...everyone gives their input..personally i dont like altezzas, unless they are painted (BODY COLOR) like skyline lights...and red clears are cool too...and red clears are damn near impossible to find..good luck all maxima 95-96 owners!

 

FYI A-hole I have a honda. and my point was the number of ricey hondas w/ altezzas are an ever-growing annoyance and that i would rather have stock or clears on my max to set myself apart from all that. geez whats your problem - got a stick up your ***? your avatar definitely speaks well of you.

they guys bulb cracked...that in turn melted his housing and that would have also melted the oem ones

 

95 and 96 have more limited options. I do like the painted "skyline" mod done to the carbon fiber altezzas. I think there is a link in the how to's but you basically don't have round lenses and your body color. Not too bad. I just don't think it is worth it spending hundreds on tail lights.

Wish red clears didn't command such a hefty price tag.
