Does anyone here bike?

I mean bicycle.

What do you guys use to secure your bike to the car? How does it work for you?

I'm looking for a roof rack. Used. If anyone has one to sell. Unless you guys have used a roof rack and it sucks.

I thought about putting a hitch rack on my car but then what if someone rear ends me and destroys my bike.

I need some advice

Hey~
I ride my bike sometimes. Since i don't have a spoiler, i use a trunk rack. It works well, but i have a few scratches on the trunk from my bike being there. Good luck with this.

lol I just put the bike in the trunk (rear side in first and left the front end sticking out of the trunk). Tied down the trunk lid so it didn't bounce around. Only did it once, but now my bicycle is just sitting at home since I don't bike anymore...

Not at much as I used to or would like. I was really into Mt. Biking
Still have my Yakima rack, locks & 2 fork mount trays if you're interested. I can get pics if serious, not sure on price, you would just need to by clips for a Maxima.

jmeister please email me at PAREDLINE@aol.com. Let me know what you are looking for as far as $$ and what car the rack was mounted to before; if not a maxima.

Thanks

Then I wouldnt even drive. I cant afford $90 in gas every week.

I seriously pulled up to a gas pump in Georgia (where fuel is cheaper) and a suburban just left and the pump said $110.

HOLY CRAP

I also use the trunk rack. I just made sure to use the carduster on the spots where the foam pads would meet the car to avoid the scratches.
