100,000!!!!!!!! then it died.

lol, i finally joined the 100k club. And if your familiar with my transmission problem posts (internal bearings and syncros, i pretty sure) that finally gave out. I had to drive the car to and from school and work, so the last day it was driveable i got out of class and saw that it was leaking BLACK!?! tranny fluid (pieces of the seal?) so i granny drive it home with no 1st or 2nd gear (mostly freeway) and then when i get home i looked under the car and it was POURING! fluid. As bad as the tranny sounded i dont think it needs a rebuild i think i need a new one..(i havent pulled it off yet), so my baby has to sit in the driveway lookin sweet until i can afford to get another trans. so for now im stuck driving my moms a$$ truck.
peace

You wanna talk about pouring tranny fluid?

That's the line going down my street after mine blew out a couple months ago. That stuff will stain your driveway pretty bad

good luck getting that fixed

My maxima is at 90k miles and the auto tranny is running still very strong. I'm keeping my fingers crossed don't have any problems soon.

Good luck with fixing it, hope it won't be too expensive.
