Impressions and feedback of My recent mods

Now that i have finally been able to drive my car on a regular basis i can finally give you guys some feedback on the parts i have installed. I figured i would keep everything in one thread so here it goes.

As for the headers I am very happy so far. The car flies through the Rpm band much faster than before. Now my butt dyno can't even really give a figure on what the gains were from the headers alone due to the fact that i put so many mods on at once, but the car is much much quicker and pulls extremely hard in the upper portion of the RPM band. Another plus is they sound friggin awesome . I reccomend them to anyone who has a SC setup

Fuel Setup:
The emanage is very nice and very user friendly. I am running the 510cc Power Enterprise Injectors which are listed for the 350z. These are being controled using the emanage injector harness along with a Sard FPR(FP set to 38 psi) and a Walboro fuel pump. With this setup i was able to eliminate the need for a FMU and was able to keep injector duty cycle at 80%. As far as driveablity and idle there is one problem. The car boggs very badly after being put in drive right after a cold start, but after driving for about 30 seconds the car runs like a champ. The idle with this setup is extremely smooth and is better than with my stock injectors.

2.87 pulley
Well everyone knows this is the little devil that gets you into trouble. Boost comes on quick and hard.

Water/Alcohol Injection
I got this so i could keep the aggressive stock timming and prevent detonation. Kit is made by coolingmist. I got the Stage 1 w/ a 100psi pump, Car feels stronger in the upper Rpm's than the one day i drove without it. I got the car retuned(got it done for free ) by my shop to run 80% water 20% alcohol. I forgot to ask about what AFR they leaned out to but i think it is like 12:1(i will ask tommorow to make sure). It was 11.5:1 before the kit was installed.

I also want to thank everyone on here for all the help and support over the last couple of months. I know some of you had to be getting annoyed with me posting so many questions, but hey deal with it . I would like to especially thank:
h2kspig
Latinmax
Jay25
IceY2k1
DaMax
BlackBirdVQ
And everyone else i bugged the crap out of

Sorry if this is long but i got all this stuff done at once and wanted to keep everything contained to one thread instead of 5 different ones. I hope this can give some insight and useful info to other SC guys.

I am glad to hear that your car is running good now. I really want to see it and ride in it.

I think I deserve some thanks for all the hard work I did!!!!

J/K it was interesting trying to get everything working on your car. I learned a few things so I know you did with all the stuff you did yourself and with all the posts you had on here. Congrats on the awesome setup.

BTW frosty just challenged you saying you still aren't as fast as the snowmobile was. I would like you to take him up on that.

Now he says he wants to put some SSR 18"s on the snowmobile and that it won't slow it down too much. It won't make it faster.

Ha i knew i was starting to influence him. But how in the hell is he going to put rims on the snow mobile if he can't ever save up enough to finish the turbo project.

How about the ATP cutout?

How loud is it once it opens? Maxarley loud? Ricey?

Are you going to show us these dynos you've been getting? I know I'm interested in the steps you've taken to get where you are now.

I have no dynos to post yet little man. The car was tuned on the street w/ a wideband. After i finish my exams this week i want to get a dyno. I still have to do the CAI mod, install the ATP cuttout, and get some custom 2.5 rear section piping put on my stock muffler. I guess this will give me a before # to look at

very interested to see how this performs...what psi will you set it for?? I'm still skeptical on the effectiveness with engagement occuring under boost and not with it fully open from the start(like the e-cutouts), though on a supercharged car I guess its not as big an issue as TCd where always open increases spool up.

it will be set to open at 5 psi. I chose this one since it is so compact and offer more ground clearance compared to the e-cuttouts which are pretty bulky. I REFUSE to raise my car up

With the proper turbo configuration and a decent, ie 2.5", catback, the backpressure at low psi say <5psi until the cutout opens is going to be low and have minor effects on spoolup.

Yes, the eCutout would be better, but I think the ATP cutout is the way to go, TC'd or SC'd.

that's good news chris. it's been too long seeing you show up at the meets without your "chrismobile". my eyes itched for a while.

anyways, i got good news on my end, too.
i got a girl to buy the coils for me. she also bought the nano-tech particle spliter kit for me. it's just a matter of time for them to get into the USA. i'll go run a before and after dyno the moment i receive them. wish me luck.

and my bad, it seems like they do differentiate the coils for a32 and a33 bodies. they specifically asked that when my girl tried to hook me up with them. it was crucial. so i guess it does matter what model you are using it on... but i swear from the pictures that they do look very alike.

those that don't know what i'm talking about, please disregard what i just said. i wont' say anymore since there isn't dyno's to prove anything just yet. so chris and spiggy, shut the hel up!
