Oh well, I guess I goofed up in posting this:} I wanted to know if the tranny's lock up feature only works when the coolant is a certain temperature, or if it will work regardless if the coolant temperature. I know the one for the Cressida only works when the coolant is a certain temp, and wanted to know if the L4N worked on the same principle? Thanks

 

I know on the 2nd gens they have that feature that O/D doesn't work until coolant is at x degrees. As far as the 1st gen....I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks, They don't list anything about this. I did read in a manual for a Cressida that that Transmission, the coolant has to be to a certain temp before the car will go into lockup and shift into 4th gear.
