Check out the post by 96white in the 4th gen forum. We added a pioneer module for his deck that used the ip bus, sounded great. What h/U do you have?

I have a Kenwood KVT-915DVD, I'm thinking of getting the kenwood ipod interface, but I have mixed feelings. Wanted to see what the Org's thoughts on them were.

I have a Kenwood DDX7015. I love being able to control my iPod from my touch screen. With these aftermarket stereo adapters your gonna get the best sound quality from ur iPod and it charges it also. IMO best way to go if since u have a Kenwood. They also make them for Alpine and Pioneer.

I'm glad to hear you say that. I planned on getting it, but after reading the reviews on crutchfield I was second guessin. What kind/size of iPod are you using?

I have a 15g iPod. Its the last model with the 4 buttons at the top and the wheel. The controls could b a little bit better, but definatly a much better option for the car than anything i have tried. I have had the FM transmitter...which i HATED...and i had it hooked up through the CD changer port with RCAs. The sound was ok with the RCAs, but nothing compared to the Kenwood iPod adapter. If ur like me and use ur iPod mostly n the car, it is definatly worth the $100. BTW it is a very easy install. Just don't expect the controls to be exactly like the iPod.

Yeah I figured it would control the iPod the same as if you have the iPod in hand. I'm actually going to use an iPod mini with my system because I heard a few say the more you have on your iPod the longe it takes to scroll threw. I figure 4 gigs is more than enough to hold all my favorite CD's.
