Suspension swap twice a year?

I'm planning to go to college next year in Montana, and was wondering how difficult, if even necessary, it would be to swap out Illuminas and S-Tech springs for stock during the winter months and then back to the Illuminas early spring. I haven't ordered anything yet because I just became worried about this. Is it gonna be too big a deal? I'll probably just ride with a friend who has a truck or something if worse comes to worse. Am I gonna be sittin rough with the drop? No kit or lip or anything, so it's not gonna be slammed, and i'll use the stock 15" sawblades. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

you shouldn't have to switch to stock in the winter unless there's TONS of snow.

I think you should be just fine. No need to go through all that trouble. Taking off nice rims for the winter, i woudl say yes- do it, But changing out suspensions twice a year seems excessive, especially if the car has a mild drop and is not slammed. I don't know how low the drop of your s techs are, but with my hr's I don't think its gonna pose a problem come winter. Good luck in school

i wouldnt really worry, i mean no lip or bodykit, no big rims. so it simply = a nice drop. i would just leave em in all yr round.

alright, thanks for the advice. it would be really hard anyway because it would be a pain to bring a lot of tools out there, and they'd probably have to stay in the trunk or to find some shop. Hopefully they'll be fine. WOO!! Can't wait to order! I just know it'll ride like a totally different and new car! I'm sick of the saggy ****!
