I just tried rewiring my foglights. I follow the directions all correctly... wire tap from the green/yellow wire from the fog light relay to the sidemarker red/blue wire but when I put on the first click on the lights nothing is coming on. THen I disconnected all the taps and try to put it back to factory specs... first click still doesnt turn nothing on... I guess I blew a fuse somewhere. Can someone please help me!! I tried to look for the side markers fuse but I cant find it. By the way I have a 99 SE-L manual. Right now is sunday 13th around 7pm EST (east coast) and I am stuck in the middle of it. ANyone please HELP who has done this before on their 99SE max. Thanks alot!!! email me at aznbluboy@yahoo.com if anything..

I blew the fuse on my corner lamps somehow... If they are not working, check out the fuse under the dash (left side of steering wheel), just pull on the little door thingie. There is a detailed guide of fuses on the back of the door, and in the owners manual. I swapped my fuse (think it was a 15 amp) and it fixed the problem... I think that same fuse was labeled as "taillights" or something like that. I don't remember them specifically saying "corner lamps" or whatever. Check for "taillamps"...

Yup, that was the culprit!! Thanks for the heads up..

BUT now I have another problem... on the first click... everything lights up now.. including the headlights... so what you think is the problem? Seems like there is now NO difference between the first click and the second click... it turns on my headlights no matter what. BTW.. I have an upgraded wiring harness mod on the car... could that be the problem?

Well, to recap.. I tapped the green/yellow wire from the fog light harness relay to the red/blue wire on the side marker lights on the bumper just as the directions say. Anyone??... PLEASE HELP me figure this out.. I'm so fustrated.....THANKS ALOT...!!

was just going to rewire my fogs last night also, but it was 2am in the dim garage, and I couldnt even get the bolt that holds the coolant reservior off so I quit. If you're blowing fuses and stuff, I dunno if I should even bother? btw, 97 I30t...how'd you manage to get that off...my phillips screw driver chewed out the star pattern, and I dont have a cartridge on my damn socket wrench kit that fits the damn bolt! so annoying!
