im at work with me and my boss in the car, were on jericho and newhyde park at the stop light. some bich comes hits the side of my car, my brand new 99 bumper, and rear quarter panel with her little hyundai. i was like wtf? did i just get hit? because it didnt feel that hard. so i grab the club got of the car looked at the damage. and i was like SHIETT!! NOT MY NEW BUMPER AND PAINTJOB!! so i run towards the bich and she reverses and drives off quickly while im chasing her on foot. she goes to the gas station so im thinking she goin stop. she just keeps flooring it. so i hop in my car and by the time it was too late. i was searching for her ***. and didnt find her. wait till i find her little rich long island *** im going to sue the sheit out of her and beat the shiet out of her. i didnt get the plates or nothing. to top it off when she hit me some how my stillen lip got bruised along the whole front side. i was like wtf?? neways i put some compound on the quarterpanel and bumper but it still needs a paint job. sorry for the language i am so mad, its not even 2weeks from when i got the car from the shop and these bastards fawk it up. oo imma get her. dam sometimes its not worth modding your car. i really want to sell it and get a new car that looks good stock. luckily she didnt stop or i wouldve beat the shiet out of her. im so mad right now.......i love my car too much for anyting to happen to it...

 

wow that is so not cool. this it the biggest reason why will never get a paint job. too many A holes out there to screw with it. in the mean time just sit down and relax. its the weekend go party or something

thanks guys, i mean before when i had my car painted i was so unsatisified with my car, and now i got it painted i feel like its another burden off my shoulders, its like im doine with the car so i dont have to worry spending money on it any more and i could move on with other things. now im finally happy with it, and when i spent my money on it thats when it gets ruined. its not like i did a hit and run before or nothing of that sort.

i mean around here if you get into an accident if its your fault or not someone else is popping there trunk and going to hit you with something. so you just got to make sure you always have some protection. lol i guess im used to it. one time my boy got into an accident when some guy ran a stop sign, the dude pull my boy out the car and beat the shiet out of him.

Word to the wise, bro... next time get out calmly, walk forward, and see if she is ok - it's an ACCIDENT (no matter whose FAULT). Then CALL THE COPS and let them get a report... and then let your insurance companies battle it out.

Next time you could get out of the car with your club and run towards a car - and have that guy (or girl, for that matter) get out with, say, a 9mm since they see you with a club rushing up to their car. Self defense, get it?

2_Da_Max... still makes sense to call the cops... if it was her fault, then the police report will help your insurance company and hers decide it was her fault... then her insurance company pays for your vehicle to be fixed, and her insurance rates go up (not yours).

We have to control our tempers out there on the road, it can get us into trouble or even worse. I'm no exception--that time in Fort Lee NJ two weeks ago, I was ready to say forget about getting arrested, having my home taken away in a lawsuit etc. losing my livelihood etc. That's how ready I was to pummel this dude with the PBA stickers on his car etc. that was honking and yelling profanities at me in his broken English. It's a good thing really, that when I called his bluff he chickened out and said he didn't have time or he would oblige. All I know is that if he accepted, I probably would have hurt him and when all is said and done, I'm the one who stands more to lose.

Just to clarify, you got out of the car with the club (the kind you put on the steering wheel?) and did you just have it in your hand, or did you get out with it intentionally as a potential weapon?

Good that your alright, and I just hope you find her again, first get he liscnese plate number, from that you can get name address and insurance info, then try to file a police report, if you can get that then you can send it to her insurance and then they'll pay for repairs.

Some of those crazy NY driver are simply crazy.

my first step would be to try to talk to him... then pull my weapon and try to get him to back off... then if he came charging at me with a bat to put him down.

I think you are right, he must have checked who was in that car before he grabbed that weapon and came charging out. Most people in the girls situation would have done the same thing given the same circumstances, a judge would probobly exonerate her for the hit and run because she was acting in self defense, and charge him for felony attempted assault with a deadly weapon.

If this was a regular commute day then I'd suggest staking out the same intersection for the hour before and after the same time and write down the plate number of any identical cars with matching damage. Hopefully you'll see her again.


Oh, and approaching her car with a visible weapon? If you'd have approached MY car with a visible weapon and I couldn't back up and drive away, then you'd get shot. I'm not surprised she fled - she's have been stupid to stick around.

MAYBE you can get lucky and SHE reported the accident (or at least she reported your 'attack') so call the police anyways. Go back to the scene and see if there are any cameras (like th gas station) that covered the area, but I would be surprised if you get any more detail that you already have. Unless you can call Gill Grissom and he can use his cputer to clear up the image so you can read he address of a letter on her dahsboard from the reflection in her eyeball... In the real world, you're prolly screwed.
