CDT 6.5 full range, 5.25 mid bass & sub

Sound like a good set up? I have a rockford fosgate punch he2 sub for the trunk. Would it be better to stick with just the 6.5 full range speakers w/ no rears, or would it be better to get those rears as well.

I have CDT's 6.5 component set up front and 6.5 full range in the back. IMO I don't think that the full range is enough for that sub, they just wont get loud enough alone. I would leave the mid bass in the back it won't do alot but it will help

Now when I asked was there a cheaper source no one responded. As soon as I buy, I see people talking about a guy named don who has great deals on high quality audio. damn shame..

LoL guys,

I try to help, dunno about "THE Don", but I try.

I dont carry CDT and havent for several years since they were CliffDesigns. Still a great product, but they would be a bit of competition for the other lines I carry. Aside from that I didnt like when they "mainstreamed" themselves into higher marketing areas (ie: the internet). I try to stick with more exclusive brands that back me 110% with support. CDT wasnt doing that for their dealers for quite some time. Again I reiterate, theyre not by any means bad products, just not my cup of tea anymore. Every other line I carry has equal/superior lines to compete in the same price ranges...

good points. its interesting how you consider CDT "going mainstream" when its ,mainly on the net. i agree also because word of mouth is insane via forums and such but walk into any audio shop and they would say "CDT who"? also the quotes was because i dont even "know" the other don because he just tried to sell **** on here, whereas you are what keeps me on the org...the lack of arrogance from mods in this forum!

O dont get me wrong, being called 'THE' Don works for me.

Yea, although it gets off topic a bit, this forum never seems to be bad. I hardly ever have to ban someone or lock a thread. OT occasionaly? Sure, but still all in fun.

When I had said mainstream, the internet is exactly what I was referring to. Their products are still better (for the most part) then the typical "Mainstream" lines. Just meant in a marketing sense.

I got your message, but as stated abopve I dont carry CDT. I can help you with others like Rainbow,Arc,Alumapro,Diamond,etc... but no CDTs here.

Also be a little more specific with the Rainbow products, as their prices vary from the $200ish range to the $10Kish range.

I have recently got my CDT setup installed n my '96. I have the 3-way components up front and the 2-ways n the rear. I wanted to get the Eurosport CDT's, but as much as i change around my stereo if figured i didn't need to spend so much. This was the 1st setup I've used with CDT's and love them. They would probably be gone today if RE would hurry up and release their full components, not just midbass. I think the zeb would b ur best bet if ur gonna buy them off the net, and their prices r very good. IMO u should look at Rainbows, DLS Iridium, Dynaudio
