Just a straight up muffler job. I have an OBX muffler and I want them to install. What should this cost? Meineke quoted $100. I feel that this is too much for an easy job. They have to make the pipe from the back then weld the two pieces where the hangars attach. Let me know guys. thanks.

 

$40-$50 is a good price.

 

I went to the Exhaust show on Castle hill and East Treamont before to get my flex pipe fixed on my 3rd gen. (RIP) it cost me $120.00 to repair. They seemed ok.

You can go to shea stadium if you want a functional but crappy job. American Muffler on Old Country Road in Westbury is good. They're reasonable too. Don't go inside the office. Once you park your car go by the service bay and one of the guys inside will cut you a deal on the DL - if you give them a tip.

If you go into the office first the owner will make you pay full price.
