Production numbers for manual transmission?

I have searched for this information but have not been able to find it so please forgive me if this is listed somewhere but I am looking to find the numbers of manual versus automatic transmission Maximas produced by year. If possible, I would also like this broken down into GXE, SE or GLE also. Please let me know if you have an idea on where to find this information.

Thanks!

I believe 9% of 4th gens were 5-speeds. 91% were bought by grannies j/k

Just finding a 5-speed in good condition for a good price was hard as hell.

I haven't seen the type of hard numbers that you are looking for. Don't know if Nissan ever released detailed production figures. Would be interesting to see nontheless.

I believe I have one: GLE- 100% automatic

I would say 10 to 15% of 4th Gens are 5-speed, with no 5-speed GLEs. One would think there would be a higher incidence of SEs with 5-speeds, say 20 to 25%, as they are aimed for driving enthusiasts.

I would think the production breakdown would be something like 40% GXE, 35% GLE and 25% SE.

I used to look at the order guidelines that new car managers HAD to follow, and the LIMIT for M/T orders was always 5%! This was from '98 to '03 or so-

maybe less than 10-15%... I have not seen a single MT Maxima besides my own and besides those I see at meets (and even then, out of 30 cars that show up maybe 5-7 are equipped with a MT)... They're basically all automatic... When people see mine its like OMG... MANUAL!

i went to a local nissan dealer to pick up a wheel stud, at that time, the 6th gen maxima came out, so took a look around, and every single one was an auto, i asked the salesperson if they had any manuals, he told me, "you'll be lucky to find even ONE in San Jose."

I am the proud owner of a 5-speed Maxima that I have owned since day 1. My friend's brother has a 99 Maxima that is manual. Apart from that I only see them at meets.
