Sweeeeet! Superflo finally fixed!!

well for those of you who care or have been following my episodes w/ the new superflo, WSP sent me a new pipe and holy cow ive never been so pleased. sooooo smooth and quiet - sounds unbelievable w/ my B-pipe and Stillen muffler. I had an MR2 rev on me while i was test driving it and he heard mine did a double take w/ a puzzled/awestruck look. . Ceasar i will get you sound clips asap. for WSP who has been sooo helpful through this whole thing - thanks dallas.

Congrats man, I'm really happy for you. I think I'm just going to sell mine (if possible) in the beginning of the summer and get a budget y-pipe.

yea thanks guys. well dallas and i tried to trouble shoot the pipe for a couple months and after we got it all figured out we concluded it was leaking from both the flex joint and a faulty gasket at the cat. so needless to say it sounded like nascar by my cat and fairly quiet at the muffler. the reason it took so long was bc the flex joint was leaking on and off so i couldnt tell what the deal was w/ that and then the gasket went about a month ago. but its great now - and ill def try to get clips up.

enjoyincubus504, im just like you going with budget sometime this summer. I checked out different types of pipes and figured I'll run with this one, why are you switching from WS to Budget?

Because I am very unsatisfied with the sound of my warpspeed super-flo y-pipe. It sounds like there is something wrong with my car (and I know there is nothing wrong), even while in Park and idling. In first gear it sounds fine, (I have an auto btw) but once it hits 2nd gear, it sounds very raspy and not clean and clear at all. I also have a GReddy SP2 catback, so it's very loud together. It's not supposed to be as loud as it is. And when I hit about 5600 RPM's, it's raspy to a whole new level. Sounds horrible. I am happy with the gains and fitment, other than that I would have gotten a budget y-pipe if I had known I would not have been happy with it.

oh enjoyincubus i forgot to mention - WSP slightly re-did the superflo and (the bend is a little different where the pipes come together which i believe take more strain off the flex joint)

That's great that they do that after they sell the pipe. Oh well, budget it is.
