Tires

Say I want to put 19 inchers on an otherwise stock 98 GLE. What should I look for in the other two numbers that the tires have? Still 205/65? What look will I get from different numbers?

lol ... dude you really should read up on rims and tires ... 205 is the width of the tire and 65 refers to the height .. for a 19 inch rim, your going to have a very low profile tire .. the idea of the ideal rim and tire package is to keep the OVERALL height(which means the height of the rims and tire together) as close to stock as possible, this way the gears and speedometer still function the same as they would as stock .. bigger rim, smaller tire -- smaller rim, bigger tire ... check out www.tirerack.com 205/65 is not even close to what you would match a 19 inch rim with .. good luck

235-35 19 will be a good fit ... Or get over your laziness and use these various calculators located in the **TIRE** and wheel forum ...

The problem is you will still have the 4x4 look unless you lower the car.
